Additionally, fans can easily discover events based on location and filters, contributing to increased attendance and support for artists and patronage for venues.
How does MusicCred benefit artists?
MusicCred offers artists a platform where they can seamlessly request shows, negotiate booking terms within the app, and manage their event schedule in a centralized manner. Additionally, MusicCred provides increased artist visibility, leading to increased event bookings.

Can artists and venues customize their profiles on MusicCred?
Absolutely! Artists have the ability to add a variety of widgets including a brief biography, showcase photos, and embed their music, videos, and social links. This allows venues to review an artist’s work when considering them for bookings.
Can venues initiate contact with artists for bookings and negotiations within the MusicCred app?
MusicCred provides venues with the capability to book artists. Both venues and artists can engage in real-time chat to negotiate booking terms before finalizing the booking.
Can artists specify their rates?
Artists have the flexibility to set either a fixed event rate or a range as their pay preference. They can seamlessly receive payments by linking their Stripe account to MusicCred.
How are payments processed within the MusicCred app?
Payments are processed through Stripe ensuring robust technical capabilities, fraud prevention, and secure transactions for smooth online payment operations.
How are contracts and agreements handled between artists and venues on MusicCred?
Artists and venues, in compliance with our terms of service, enter into a binding agreement once accepted and payment is made for the booking. Artists formalize their commitment by accepting booking details, and venues by completing the payment for the booking. Why is the "request to book" button disabled on my artist page?
We allow artists to see their own page in “public preview.” Artists cannot book themselves, so a venue page is required to book an artist.
I'm seeing an error in the app. What should I do?
The first thing to do would be to log out of the app and log back in. If that doesn’t work, try un-installing and re-installing the app. If you continue to have problems, please let us know using the form below, and we’ll help you asap!
